In the second quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Chile exhibited diverse trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive view of the performance of these apps on a unified platform.

Uber - Request a ride saw a fluctuating but overall positive trend in downloads, starting at 29.8K in early April and peaking at 30.3K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.6M throughout the quarter, with a slight dip in mid-April but recovering by the end of June.

inDrive. Save on city rides demonstrated a steady increase in downloads, rising from 17.9K in the first week of April to 25.4K by the last week of June. Weekly active users also increased slightly, starting at 211K and reaching 221K by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a mixed trend in downloads, starting at 19.2K in early April, dipping in mid-April, and then stabilizing around 17K by the end of June. However, weekly active users showed a steady increase, peaking at approximately 1.4M in mid-May before stabilizing around 1.37M by the end of the quarter.
